‘What a magnificent being … full of dynamism, committed to Earth, enlightened Humanity-in-Action … (their) beauty, grandeur and simplicity pierced my heart … I was witnessing the birth of Diamond Souls.’

According to Christopher Bache, this is humanity’s destiny. This is what we are designed to become, even though it seems unimaginable from our present state. But this transition has in fact been a long time in the making, is already under way if you know where to look, and will only gather speed in times ahead.

Chris’ book, LSD and the Mind of the Universe, contains vivid descriptions of our transition to the Future Human, and of the Future Human itself. It is by far the most complete portrayal that I have found. In his deeply moving and intimate account, he describes his soul opening intensely to spiritual growth, spiritual truth and unexpectedly, to visions of the future planetary journey of humanity, culminating in the emergence of a transformed Future Human.

If you are already thinking that the Future Human is not quite like the present human, you are right. Chris saw that the Future Human will in every way be so much more than we currently are. In fact, the Future Human will actually spring from a somewhat different blueprint, or ‘FORM’, than the current FORM for our species.

So how will this new FORM arise?

Chris came to understand that we all experience literally thousands of reincarnations, generations upon generations as timeless souls, evolving ourselves through the process of inhabiting myriad iterations of physical reality. Now, we are beginning to integrate our many lives into a single consciousness. This consciousness is a synthesis of all we have learned as we have exercised all our talents, developing them over many centuries. As part of the process we are also seeing and clearing up our unfinished business, and the consciousness that is developing is much vaster than the sum of its parts.

The constantly changing manifestations of life (that is, our myriad incarnations) arise from underlying FORMS, which change more slowly than the manifestations themselves, and humans are a particularly dynamic species. The constant turnover of reincarnating generations creates an ever-growing and ever-deepening pool of experience which is preserved and fully alive within our species Mind, within which we are all immersed. This perpetual gathering of experience results in periodic shifts in our underlying FORM, when the pool of experience reaches certain tipping points. Anthropology hints that such a shift may have happened relatively suddenly about 50,000 years ago, when technology and culture took a rapid leap forward. It seems that we are poised for another great leap, and the Future Human will spring from a different FORM that is currently emerging, a different underlying architecture of the collective psyche, than our present FORM.

This new Soul-Identity is a higher form of consciousness that Chris terms the Diamond Soul. This is the new FORM emerging in the evolution of human consciousness. This is the FORM that makes all the evolutionary changes possible — in our vision, which becomes Diamond Vision, in our hearts, which we will know as expressions of the One Heart, and in our social conscience, which will be grounded in Oneness.

Chris tells us that the evolution of our species is actually the systematic growth of a single organism, and that the entire human family will eventually be integrated into a unified field of awareness. As Future Humans, underneath the diversity of our lives, we will truly know ourselves as One.

He goes on to say that a consciousness of unprecedented proportions will emerge, driven by an infinitely loving universal intelligence. A profound awakening of the human heart will manifest as an inner luminosity within us all. In the arc of history that follows, Light will saturate our lives, and we will know ourselves as Light. We will become more complete expressions of this Light, and this Diamond Clarity will purify and elevate all our senses.

There will be a time of rebuilding that is informed by the Oneness and luminosity of the awakened heart. New social institutions will spring up that will reflect this newfound reality. New social units will form, and every aspect of life will be marked by new priorities and new perceptions of the good and true. In place of existential isolation, competition and conflict, there will be a profound sense of equality, inclusion and harmony. Matter and Spirit will arise in perfect co-emergence, each an expression of the other, and a new order will truly appear in creation.

He also tells us that the transition to the new FORM will not be easy, and the crucible for the creation of the Future Human will be a time of enormous suffering. It seems as though the grandeur of the change in our FORM will be reflected in the immensity of the anguish. This immense suffering, triggered by a cascading series of ecological crises, will see the loss of all the assumed structures of our lives, so that we are eventually left barely clinging to survival itself. It will last for generations and be so intense that it will drive the collective unconscious into such high levels of arousal that it will begin to function in a non-linear manner, and in that higher order of functioning, the new FORM of humanity will be born.

And even though such suffering may seem like an unnecessarily cruel path to the glory of the Future Human, Chris also points out that everyone currently alive on Earth has chosen to be part of this process, even though this is a soul-choice that most of us are not aware of making. The suffering inherent in purification has always been a doorway to enlightenment, and Chris tells us that the global purification we are entering will be so intense that it will eventually give birth to this whole new order of human being. The Diamond Soul is being born in history.

So as you read this, know that you too are here as part of a master plan to assist humanity to give birth to this new, brilliant potential. Everything you do to grow, personally or spiritually, every experience you have, every suffering you endure, will become part of the Mind and FORM which will usher us into the New Millennium. Nothing, literally nothing, is forgotten or wasted. Not one tear is shed in vain.

It seems that we have signed up for the profound sacrifice necessary to catapult us into our highest potential, deepest truth, and most exquisite True Nature. And what amazing beings we will be!

Enlightenment, which has flared and sputtered and flared again so many times on Earth, will finally become our abiding condition as the luminous expression of the Future Human.
