Who are the Future Humans? How will they live?
The visions and prophecies that predict the qualities of the future human are remarkably short on detail.
What will future humans feel, experience, do and create. How will they live with one another. What kinds of social structures will result. Will there still be governments, laws, courts and punishments, or something entirely different. How will the planet and other sentient beings be treated. These are just some of the questions that arise.
This section looks at the few very brief descriptions of the future human that are given. All seem to point to living from a much more enlightened consciousness than generally appears on the planet today.
It also expands on what we know at this point in history about the state of consciousness of the human being who is actually living in the enlightened state of ‘peace and love’. I look at the ways that such a human might relate to themselves, others and the planet, and the social, cultural and political institutions that might arise as a reflection of widespread enlightenment.
My Heart is Breaking for Baby Boys
My heart is breaking for baby boys. They need infinitely more love and tenderness than they actually get, and the absence of that essential care leaves a lifelong scar on their hearts and souls. Recent studies show that baby boys are born with measurably less emotional resilience than baby girls. In fact, their right brains, which are the mediators of … Continue reading →
The Perfect Wisdom of a Baby’s Needs
Imagine for a moment that you are a soul immersed in the bliss of the Oneness of all that is. You are completely merged with Source and all other souls while still knowing yourself as an individual consciousness. You know without question that you are infinitely and individually loved. Whenever you desire to connect with another soul, immediately you are … Continue reading →
There are Many Peaceful Societies Around the World
It may come as a shock to most Westerners to know that there are many peaceful societies in the world. In the West we are immersed in a culture that has a millennia-long history of violence and warfare. The United States, in many ways the leading country in the West and a product of this long history, is a comparatively … Continue reading →
What We’ll Become. The Luminous Future Human
‘What a magnificent being … full of dynamism, committed to Earth, enlightened Humanity-in-Action … (their) beauty, grandeur and simplicity pierced my heart … I was witnessing the birth of Diamond Souls.’ According to Christopher Bache, this is humanity’s destiny. This is what we are designed to become, even though it seems unimaginable from our present state. But this transition has in fact … Continue reading →
The Lesson of Fearless Love
Sometimes animals can be our secret spiritual teachers. I’ve personally known some amazing animals with extraordinary presence and love, but this story from a friend is perhaps the most amazing of all. Her beloved dog was very old, and when the dog finally lost all ability to walk, it became clear that she was drifting towards death. Just days before … Continue reading →
Attached at the Hip. And the Heart and the Mind and the Soul
There are two very important areas of human bonding that so far have not been addressed by attachment theory, at least as far as I know. Traditionally, attachment theory has focused on the physical and emotional aspects of bonding, but not the mental and spiritual aspects. This blog is a beginning exploration of these additional realms of human attachment. My … Continue reading →
In Love With Gaia
Gaia’s shadow is a beautiful thing. It’s not a lifeless gray space as most shadows are, but an infinite breathing softness, an arc of violet luminosity rising imperceptibly from the horizon. If you are watching the sky in that peaceful moment just after sunset, and just before the stars come out, you’ll see it growing in the eastern sky, slowly … Continue reading →
Finding True Fulfillment. Not What you Think
A fulfilling job, a fulfilling career, a fulfilling relationship. We’ve all heard these phrases many times. They are so much a part of our thinking and language that we seldom really notice them. When we think of fulfillment, these situations are the kinds of things that we imagine. We just naturally tend to assume that when we have the career we really … Continue reading →
